The Motherhood journey is both beautiful and difficult. It is filled with lots of questions and concerns about whether you are doing things “right”. There are plenty of moments filled with fluctuating emotions and conflicting ideologies on whom you want to be as a parent and how you want to raise your child or children. I believe the struggles and the difficulties of mommy-ing are not widely discussed enough. As a result, moms—both new and seasoned—are left feeling isolated and alone. The goal of Brown Hue Mommy Tribe is to normalize the woes of Motherhood and create a safe space for you to feel seen, heard, and connect. I specialize in support for postpartum depression, anxiety, and issues related to stress, trauma, and life transitions. As your therapist, my goal is to help you recognize the strengths you bring to the table, and by collaborative partnership work through the negative thoughts and feelings that prevent you from showing up in the world as your best self. I achieve this goal through group counseling and individual therapy. I encourage you to visit my website to learn more about me and the vision of the Brown Hue Mommy Tribe. I would love to partner with you on your motherhood journey.
